A brief look

Ella, a beautiful green town in Sri Lanka's misty highlands, with jaw-dropping vistas all around. Its scenery is filled with mountains and valleys, and it is home to Sri Lanka's most well-known railway line. Ella's waterfalls are the most spectacular. On a clear night, Ella may see the distant glimmer of the Great Basses lighthouse on the south coast. You can even view the Uda Walawe National Park from time to time. Ella is located in tea region, with a 1000m height, and its tea plants grow all around. Ella is a peaceful picturesque refuge for any tired raveler, thanks to the fresh mountain air and moderate temperature. There are several mountain excursions available for a relaxing strolling vacation.

Ella Rock

Ella Rock's top affords an excellent vantage point. It provides breathtaking views of the neighboring hills and plains below. It is Ella's greatest trekking location.

Little Adams Peak

This scale model of the iconic Adam's Peak pilgrim peak is simple to scale. The peak provides breathtaking views of the Ella Gap and Ella Rock.

The Nine Arches Bridge

This viaduct bridge is an example of colonial architecture. This 80-foot-high railway bridge offers the most spectacular Ella Sri Lanka train ride.

Diyaluma Falls

It is Sri Lanka's second tallest waterfall. It is a vertical 220m cascade of water with natural pools at various elevations for some of the most beautiful swimming in the world.

Ravana Falls

According to legend, King Ravana hid Princess Sita in the cave beneath the waterfall. It is one of the widest falls in Sri Lanka and is 25 meters tall. You may also go to its cave.

Lipton Seat

Thomas Lipton initially sowed the seeds of Sri Lanka's most renowned commodity, Lipton tea, at this breathtaking perspective. It has the nicest view of the tea farms in the hill area.
